The training continues on Rekordbox and DDJ FLX4. The tempo recognition (even in dynamics) often needs to be corrected, but once the work is done the performance is dynamic and offers various creative options that are still for me to explore. In the meantime I try to perfect the timing and length of my mixes to the tempo (the intro is a good example with both sliders open for a good while as I liked to do in the vinyl era).
On the program for this session, Afro and Latin House and even a little Korean track that I will have to edit or remix before seriously adding it to my sets. I like dance wherever it comes from…
For those who are wondering, I added to my equipment an additional 22″ 2K monitor which by chance is exactly the width of the FLX4. For those who are used to moving around with this equipment I think that with its low thickness, it can also slip into a soft case intended to transport the FLX4.
My PC with its little I9 has a little trouble ensuring a perfectly synchronized recording while ensuring the video recording of the secondary screen, it is a little audible.
